Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026. The short version: EduTray has no accounts, runs no analytics on tool usage, and nothing you type into or drop onto a tool ever leaves your device.
What the tools do with your input
Nothing, beyond the job itself. Passwords are generated with your browser's secure random generator. Images are read through the File API and drawn to a canvas on your machine. Text conversions happen in page memory. No tool sends your input to any server — there is no server component to send it to. You can confirm this with your browser's developer tools: the Network tab stays quiet while every tool works.
What we store
One thing: your light/dark theme preference, saved in your own browser's local storage under the key edutray-theme. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.
What we don't collect
- No accounts, so no names, emails or passwords.
- No analytics on which tools you use or what you put into them.
- No server logs tied to your activity — the tools make no requests to log.
Advertising
The site may display advertising in the future to cover hosting costs. Advertising providers (such as Google) may use cookies to serve personalised ads. That advertising code runs in the page around the tools and has no access to anything you type into or drop onto a tool, because a tool never hands its input to anything outside itself. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google ad settings.
