How it works

Each button applies a straightforward transformation to the whole input. Here's what each case is for:

  • UPPERCASE — headings, warnings and emphasis.
  • lowercase — normalising text before comparing or storing it.
  • Title Case — headlines and titles.
  • Sentence case — ordinary prose: first word capitalised, the rest lowered.
  • camelCase — variable and function names in JavaScript-style code.
  • PascalCase — class and component names.
  • snake_case — variable names in Python-style code and database fields.
  • kebab-case — URL slugs and CSS class names.
  • aLtErNaTiNg — playful mocking text, starting with a lowercase letter.

Worth a glance before you trust the output: Title Case and Sentence case lowercase everything first, so unusual capitalisation like "iPhone" or acronyms like "NASA" won't survive the trip. Give the result a quick read when that matters.
